Offering Internship in Berlin for native Spanish Speaker with knowledge of German
The company I am working for is a concierge and information service based on short message service (SMS). One of our core commitments is giving high quality answers. In 160 characters of one short message we try to give as much useful information as possible. However, we adhere to grammar and orthographic rules and aim for a good style of writing.
We are currently looking to expand to the Spanish market. Therefore we are looking for a native Spanish speaker who can help us transferring our existing German model onto the Spanish market by translating training material and assisting in the recruitment of Spanish speaking employees living in Berlin.
The perfect candidate
· has a very good command of Spanish on a native speaker level (grammar, language style, orthography)
· has a “teacher’s eye” to detect spelling and grammar errors as well as poor writing abilities
· is preferably fluent in German or alternatively in English
· has a high affinity to the internet (beneficial)
The internship would be fulltime with a negotiable remuneration and the option of a permanent position (in Germany or Spain) in the future.

I am writing to inquire about possible internship translation or interpreting
opportunities in your company. I finished my studies in translation and interpretation at the University of Alicante. I am seeking work in the field of translation. Starting in a translation agency would yield me the essential experience of learning how the field operates.
Through my work background and coursework I have learned many skills and
acquired an understanding of working in translation and of the problems that a
translator must face on the job; for example:
I worked as consecutive interpreter (French to Spanish) for an art school
conference in Spain. I collaborated with two other colleagues and
consequently learned the importance of teamwork in this field and saw how
crucial cooperation and solidarity are.
During my translator‐training, I have pursued versatility, working texts in
the economic and financial realm, the legal and administrative sphere,
journalism, and literature.
I worked as Spanish teacher in France for a year, so i have that “teacher eyer” you are looking for. Unfortunately i do not speak German, but i would like to do it.
Another important point not present in my résumé is the fact that I am
an official translator certified to translate legal documents.
